I often expect that when I return home that everything will be as it once was. It never is. There's always something new that has popped up, something old that has disappeared. It's exciting, but also very sad. Nostalgia is a powerful thing. So powerful that sometimes I daydream about going back to certain moments and experiencing them as the person I have become. I don't know if that makes an sense, but I really enjoyed this post.
